A love triangle, a basic component of many Bollywood films. It’s a very common concept for many Indian viewers. but can you imagine a love triangle between vampires? I am in all senses when I say that. Yes, a very popular web series the vampire diaries highlight this concept along with many other fascinating topics which include rivalry, action, and protection from many supernatural creatures( witches, werewolves, ghosts).
Inspired from the novel The Awakening by L.J. Smith it has already aired eight seasons with all of them being a success and simply increasing the fan base. The series is so loved that even after eight long seasons fans are still eagerly waiting for the ninth season.

RELEASE DATE FOR SEASON 9
After three long years of waiting it is excepted that season 9 of vampire diaries might be released in March 2021 while the casting has not been started yet. It might be delayed due to the situation of COVID 19. Also, there is no official announcement about the making of season 9 but all we can do is wait.
EXPECTED PLOT
An official trailer of season nine has not been released. Therefore there is no official prediction about the storyline. But in the last season, we saw a dispute about the concept of life between the two brothers, Stefen and Damon, while many viewers got confused with it being a fight between them to take each other’s life but thankfully it was not like that.
It doesn’t provide much of a hint for the next storyline but all we can expect is that there is again to be heaps of problem for Damon and Bonnie.
Katherine one of the strongest characters will be expected to again create havoc in Mystic Falls. How will Stefen and Damon manage?
Whatever, be the storyline but we are sure the series will excite the fans once again, will be loved by all.
Along with this, another wild guess is that there might be 22 episodes in the next season as there were in most of the other seasons. So, be ready for binge-watching……

The cast of season 9 is not confirmed but there are various rumors that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have refused to continue their roles as Damon Salvatore and Elena gilbert respectively.
