As fate has it, Allie returns to Noah and after many hardships, they get married. In the present life, we see that the old man and woman is Allie and Noah. Allie remembers Noah for a brief moment and they both die in their sleep holding each other’s hands. This movie has a cult following still.
Eat Pray Love (2010)
Eat Pray Love is a female oriented film focusing on the protagonist’s life altering decisions. The director of the film, Ryan Murphy takes us in the journey of Liz’s self-discovery and give the audience a sense of appreciation for life. After her divorce, Liz wants to let go of her monotonous life and wants to rediscover herself. She goes to Italy first and taste wonderful food and make new friends and visit many monuments, next she goes to India in the search of spirituality. She stays in an ashram and meditate everyday and learns the power of silence and patience. At last, she goes to Bali to have fun but meets a guy named Felipe and falls in love. This movie was adapted from the 2006 novel of Elizabeth Gilbert and is still a fan favourite.

Directed by Lana Wilson, Miss Americana is a documentary following the pop star, Taylor Swift. The documentary follows her daily life and behind the scenes of her song recordings and video shootings. Taylor Swift started out as a country singer in Nashville but soon became into a world renowned pop star. Her songs resonate with her fans mainly because she is often the songwriter of her songs. She is also criticised by many people for writing about her romantic relationships and her beef with other singers. Taylor addresses the rumours in this documentary and reveals how it has changed her life for the best. She shares about her eating disorder and how she has overcome it. Five Feet Apart (2019)
Sweeping the audience’s hearts with the amazing story and acting, Five Feet Apart is an emotional love tragedy which will surely make you shed tears. Stella and Will are two teenagers who are affected with cystic fibrosis, a deadly disease which requires them not to come in close contact with each other. Though separated by different personalities, they both fall in love with each other. Always maintaining a five feet distance between each other, Stella gets sick of the routine and goes out in snow along with Will. When she drowns in a frozen lake, Will breaks the rule to wake her up by giving her a mouth to mouth cpr. Realising that they will be a danger to one another, Will leaves Stella but gives her some drawings as a parting gift. The climax just breaks your heart when Stella reminds everyone how each moment is priceless and staying with your loved one is a luxury for her.
A Quiet Place (2018)
With the phrase ‘If they hear you, they hunt you’, the movie A Quiet Place is a sci-do thriller movie directed by John Krasinski. John Krasinski along with his wife, Emily Blunt has acted in the movie. The movie showcases the aftermath of a extraterrestrial creatures apocalypse. The Abbot family is shown to be the only surviving family in the town and go on about their lives in silence. Their youngest son, Beau is killed after he plays with a toy rocket right in front of his family. The movie is packed with thrilling scenes and twists and amazing acting by all the cast mates. At the end of the movie, we see Lee Abbott, the father sacrifices himself for his family and now they must fight against these creatures. A sequel to the movie is going to be released soon answering all the questions.
Julie & Julia (2009)
The movie shows the parallel life of Julia in 1950 and Julie in 2002. Julia is an optimistic woman who loves cooking and decides to write a book along with a couple of her friends. Her book is first rejected but was soon published by another editor. In 2002, we see Julie disheartened with her job and attempts to cook all the dishes in Julia’s book in a year. She decides to blog about it and documents her efforts. Soon, she receives appreciation and deals from editors and literary agents. In the end of the movie, we see Julie visiting Julia’s kitchen lookalike and thanks her. This movie is all about cooking and how perseverance can lead to a lifetime of happiness.
What A Girl Wants (2003)
Directed by Dennie Gordon, this movie is all about the relationship between a father and daughter. Daphne, a young girl who has grown up only with her mother always dreams of meeting her father. One fine day, she leaves home in search of her father. She finds him easily as Henry Dashwood is a heir to a prestigious family in London and also a politician. Henry didn’t know he had a daughter all these years and is shocked with her arrival. He tries to be a good father to her and as days go by they realise that they are very similar and form a closer bond. Anyway, due to the cunning plans of Henry’s fiancé Daphne leaves her father and goes back to her normal life. Henry realises that his family is more important than job and goes back to Daphne and her mother Libby. The movie ends when all of them gather in the lawn of the palace and have a fun chat. This movie shows the special bond between father and daughter and gives an insight on the importance of family.
