The rising of the shield hero set up as a TV series in 2017
The light novel series The Rising of the shield hero was made into a TV series in 2017. After it came on air in 2019, January the fans gave a delightful response. The first season concluded after 25 episodes. In the first season the viewers saw Noafumi Lwatani along with other three teenagers belonging to parallel universe, merge out to be the Cardinal heroes of the Earth to face and fight the multidimensional alien forces that were known as Waves.
Since the series went off air, the discussions for a second season has remained to be constant. Recent sources did say the airing of an upcoming season can be scheduled later in 2020.
Season 2 release date and cast
There is no fixed news whether there will be airing of any further season. Earlier, sources have confirmed that there might be the second on October, 2020. Owing to the outbreak of the global pandemic COVID 19,all the productions have been put on hold as of now.
Regarding the casting section, the lead roles are going to get an re-entry. Noafumi will be returning with Raphtalia and Filo. Also, there are high chances that the viewers can get to see an arrangement of new villains or allies, who knows!
