The recent releases of the various amazing TV shows on Netflix and other such platforms has made us confused
over which should TV show we prefer to watch.
So here are some personal picks for this month, some of my favorite TV series which I have binge watched
recently and would suggest you to watch in the coming month.
This list is not made in any specific order, listed below just the way they popped up in my head.
My first pick for the American TV Shows would definitely be Suits, after being a huge Legally Blonde fan during
my early girly teens, this legal drama was a must watch for me.
Another USA hit! I was completely unaware that it was running for such a good time, nine seasons seasons that
pretty much covered an entire decade from 2011 to 2019, it is now available on Amazon Prime.
It’s the story of a college dropout named Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) who basically finds his way into a law firm,
without having a proper degree, where he is hired as an associate with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht).
Both Mike and Harvey solve cases from perfectly opposite angles according to their perspectives , they also hide
At the end of the season 9, Louis marries Sheila and Sheila gives birth to their baby and Harvey marries Donna
and they move with Mike and Rachel to Seattle.
Speaking of which, the cast was another main reason for me to watch the series,
Harvey’s confident personality,Mike’s capabilities and of course I completely admire Rachel’s elegance
- Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht)
- Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman)
- Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty)
- Alex Williams (Dulé Hill)
- Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull)
- Mike Ross(Patrick J Adams)
- Rachel(Meghan Markle)
2) Never Have I Ever
Never Have I Ever is an American comedy TV series which released recently on Netflix.
This teen drama is about the Indian girl living in America and her high school fantasies, her loss(her father and
her disability) and her relationship with her mother.
The opening episode of Never Have I Ever introduces us to the Vishwakumars, a Tamil Indian family from
Sherman Oaks, California.
We are introduced to Devi the protagonist – played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan – praying and asking for
popularity, success and a boyfriend, which is also portrayed as every other American high school going girl’s dream.
Devi lives with her mother, Nalini – played by the very talented Poorna Jagannathan and her very beautiful
cousin, Kamala (Richa Moorjani) , Devi had recently suffered the loss of her father and adding to her grief her
legs also paralyzed but this year had to be her year because she had currently recovered and was back on her feet.
Devi is trying to change her social status with the help of her two best friends, Eleanor and Fabiola.
Never Have I Ever also covers a lot of stereotypes , if you look closely there are a lot references about the
common stereotypes for example when Devi’s mother says that in-laws want a type of girl for their son who can
cook and basically take care of a grown up.
Some of the references have also been criticized for being too stereotypical, well it ha a lot to tell but you have got to watch it for more details.
Unorthodox is an American-German drama miniseries that released on Netflix on 26 March 2020.
The first Netflix series that is is Yiddish language, it is inspired from Deborah Feldman’s autobiography.
The series is about the strict Hasidic Jewish community, this nail biting series stars
Shira Haas as Esty, a teenage bride who flees from her husband in Brooklyn to move to Berlin, where she studies music.
Shira Haas has played an amazing role and has portrayed the role perfectly.
In the final episode, the timelines converge as Esty auditions for a scholarship that could guarantee her a future
pursuing music in Berlin.
Having been told by one of her new friends that she doesn’t have the skills as a pianist,
despite having taken secret lessons back in Brooklyn , Esty chooses to sing.
Another American teen television drama series starring Zendaya, I have admired her since my Disney days and I
love Zendaya a lot to be honest , her style and her acting both are a work of versatility.
Euphoria is teen drama television series, which is somewhere based on the Israeli Mini series of the same name.
Euphoria follows a group of high school students through their experiences of sex, drugs, friendships, love,
identity and trauma.
The series stars Zendaya and was originally released on HBO in July 2019, currently the series was renewed for a second season.
“Euphoria” is an option for anyone looking for dramas related to teen trauma and stories related to the
experiences and thoughts of the teens.
The cast is phenomenal, and the beautiful performances completely mix the perfect filming and story line of the
series making Euphoria a complete perfection.
5) The Boys
One of Amazon’s most interesting series released in July 2019 is this satire of superhero culture based on the
graphic novel by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
The series stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, someone intent on bringing down the collection of the most famous
superheroes in the world known as The Seven.
The dark comedy asks the question: What if superheroes were sociopaths?
It’s already been renewed for year two.

a lack of support from her friends, her family and her school.
Hannah left a box of cassette tapes recorded by her for every one to listen about the reasons that contributed to
her suicide, mainly regarding the people who let her down.
There have been a total of 4 seasons where the 3 reasons had 13 episodes each and the last season contributed
of 10 episodes,
This TV series has been in controversy since the beginning keeping in mind the suicide shown by a minor in
detail, the particular scene was taken down by Netflix officially after much buzz,
where the cast and people behind the series try to support people by helpline numbers etc through awareness
schemes to avoid such happenings.
Renewed to season 4
Season 1 and 2 were quite a grip but the third installment had a little loose plot, the season 4 had recently
released on June 5 on Netflix.
13 Reasons Why’s last season is a 10-episode season and has worked on bind the lose plots of the previous
season, where the last to episodes have been rather heart breaking because we had to bid fare well to one of the
most important cast member Justin Foley who has been shown to have AIDS and is not able to make up till his
Although the show is about the fact that love rises over hate but this show also covers all the modern problems
related to the teenagers these days and also about the things they should be really aware of in today’s era.
