2. Stranger Things

It has a story about teens who find themselves in life and death situations. They are trying to save the world. ‘Stranger things’ is undoubtedly one of the biggest hits ever to be created by Netflix. The plot entails- a supernatural venture filled with conspiracy and horror. It tells the story of a group of four friends in Hawkins, Indiana that stumble upon a telekinetic super-girl and try to unravel a complicated and strange series of phenoms and mystically horrid creatures.
The season 4 teaser is out and let’s just say it has left everyone perplexed. Starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, and many more, this is an unmissably good series. As the season’s approach, the tension increases with more characters, and enigmas are intertwined in this unusually watchable show.
3. Sex Education
Another Netflix show that is nothing like any other. Sex education- is a show with the best and most interesting cast. This show follows the journey of Otis (Asa Butterfield), Maeve (Emma Mackey), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) as they navigate their school days, their love lives, their issues with parents, and family problems. And most importantly the harsh challenges that teenagers face.
Also starring Gillian Anderson as Otis’s sex therapist mother, this is a critically acclaimed show not just for its hilarious comedy – but for the bold and fierce way it stimulates important issues relating to sexuality, cis-gender, homosexuality, homophobia and more.
This series debuted earlier this year. The premise of this series is not like any other, a man has a near-deadly car crash. Later he is told that he can either die or be ‘uploaded’, sounds strange but it is true. A whole new world is waiting for him, a more digitalized and less humane one. His wealthy girlfriend has his consciousness uploaded to a cloud system, where he lives in harmony, but as you might guess… harmony is not as simple as it appears. From Greg Daniels creator of The Office, Parks, and Recreation comes Upload, a new sci-fi comedy you have to see it to believe it.
5. Good Omens
This series is mysteriously fascinating. It is based on the best-selling novel by renowned authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The writer’s 1990 novel has now been turned into a six-episode series about the battles of Good and Evil, starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen.
This series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship traversing 6,000 years and have strangely grown fond of life on earth. And the end of time is near with the impending Armageddon and they must now combine forces to find a way to save the world.
6. Jurassic World –
Coming to Netflix soon, the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a great sequel to the earlier movies. It is gripping, scary, and highly engaging. It will leave you on the edge of your seat. This is the best time to indulge in such adventurous and exciting movies. The plot and storyline are very engaging and have so much in store. When the island’s dormant volcano begins exploding to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) launch a campaign to save and retain the surviving dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.
Owen is adamant to find Blue, his front and favorite raptor who is still missing in the wild. Claire has grown an admiration for these creatures and she now makes it her mission to help them. Arriving on the unpredictable island, which has lava raining down, their expedition reveals collusion that could return the intact planet to a precarious order not seen since ancient times.
7. Dark –
If you like your TV series strange, engrossing and brooding, sci-fi series Dark is just for you. The first German-language Netflix original series (with English dubbing), Dark opens with a secret affiliation, a missing teenager, and a very spooky-looking cave. All this and more sets the vibe for the rest of the show. What evidently seems to appear as a straightforward mystery investigation soon turns into an arduous time travel plot including loads of the atmosphere. The title is most appropriate. It is highly unlikely that you would have seen a show like this before.
