Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A space odyssey:” is a classic Sci-fi. It inspired and continues to inspire nearly all modern science fiction. The movie revolves around the concept of evolution. It takes a huge leap through time from primitive mankind discovering their first tool (Age of dawn) to future mankind developing their most advanced tool, HAL 9000 supercomputer (Technological era). The movie has got all: outer space, drama, horror’s that the deranged HAL 9000 brings and humility of mankind. It is nearly impossible to understand the movie in the first go.
In an era were sci-fi movies were a B-class movie, “Stanley Kubrick” re-designed it and proved it too could be art. The movie struck a balance between posing questions and the absence of answers. Inviting generations to consider who we were and where we might go as a part of something greater than ourselves. Which is why it is our pick for the best science fiction film of all time.

The movie is a very soft sci-fi. Life looks very much similar like it does for us today. Except a new technology has been developed that can erase memory. Which helps to get rid of the pain and experience of a breakup.
The movie is about a couple: Joel and Clementine, who begin their relationship post a train journey, unaware that they had previously been in one, the memories of which are erased clinically. Giving the idea: it is easy to erase someone’s memory but not feelings.
