The first season of “The Society” was released in May 2019, it is a teen drama with dystopian theme.

The society is a story of a bunch of teenagers who go out on a trip for a week and by the time they return, everything has changed. The place is deserted and no parents are around. In their own words… “Everything that kept us safe, is gone…” There was no civilization left, and the teenagers figured out that they will have to start a new civilization. If they don’t, they won’t be able to survive for long. So the teenagers start trying to figure out how to farm and start building their own civilization.

The series is pretty interesting, but it raises more questions than it answers, making the audience want more of it. It has got some twist and turns we did not see coming making it all the more interesting.
Cast members, who are safe to assume will return
Except for the two characters who were dead by the end of season one, Cassandra (Rachel Keller) and Dewey (Seth Meriwether) we can expect all the other characters to return. Kathryn Newton, Jacques Colimon, Toby Wallace, Gideon Adlon, Sean Berdy, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Olivia Dejonge, José Julián, Salena Qureshi, Alex MacNicoll, Jack Mulhern, Spencer House, Emilio GraciaSanchez, Olivia Nikkanen, Grace Victoria Cox and others are expected to reprise their role.

Release
The release date is not yet announced… But, it is made clear that we’ll have to endure the torment of unanswered questions until late 2020. The first season of the show ends with Allie’s mom reading Peter Pan to a bunch of kids and a few adults, and behind her is a plaque that reads “WE REMEMBER THEM” with the missing children’s names on it. So what exactly happened? Are they in a parallel universe? Are they dead? Stranded in time or space? I guess we’ll have to wait till the end of this year to find out.
